Antiwar Rally at Union Square 4/9/11

This iaudio slide show depicts the antiwar demonstration that took place in Union Square on Sunday, April 9th, 2011. The demonstration took place on the week of the 44th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous antiwar speech at the Riverside Church in 1967. The demonstration brought together hundreds of people from dozens of different groups protesting the U.S.’s wars in the Middle East and involvement in Libya, and a range of other foreign and domestic issues.
