Join us on Wednesday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m. as we live blog Brooklyn’s Community Board 2’s land use committee meeting, where a number of changes to the face of the neighborhood you live in will be discussed and voted upon. For the full meeting agenda, please scroll down to view the document in .pdf form.

Brooklyn has always been an ever-changing community, but through the decades one thing usually stayed the same – the buildings. But in the past decade, an increasing amount of construction and gentrification has led to the sprouting of new apartment highrises and large business centers.

Community Board 2 in Brooklyn, which represents DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn and Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, will be holding their Land Use Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 18 at 6 p.m, and we’ll be there covering all the details for you. We’ll be live-blogging the entire meeting, providing you with the info, facts, thoughts and opinions being shared from the board members and the attendees. We’ll also be providing you with pictures, videos, maps of affected areas, graphics and charts, and answering any questions you might have.

Please check back with us at 5:30 pm on Wednesday when we’ll kick the live coverage off.

Until then, if you have any questions you’d like answered by us or by committee members, please fill out our Google survey below and let us know what you think. Any and all submissions are appreciated, and we will do our best to address them all.
