There was a spike in traffic usually when people we’re searching for people I’ve covered. I received the most traffic on days when people searched for Island Tattoo, Dan Lettieri (the artist I covered), The Wild Goose and the owner, and Staten Island Beer Fest. It seemed people were less likely to check out any other stories on that day, they usually went to my “About Me” page and then left.
I enjoy having them visit, but I need to work on making them stay. Since the multimedia stuff grabs more people in, I should put more videos and stuff on the site.
