Redefining Plus Size

Fashionista Deb Malkin, 41, was troubled by the lack of plus size vintage stores in New York City. So much so that two years ago, she opened Re/Dress, the first vintage and resell store to carry fashions for plus size women in the New York area. With Re/Dress, located at 109 Boerum Place in Brooklyn, Malkin is proving that there is a market for plus size vintage clothing and women come from all over the world to shop at her store.

Even though the pant size of the average American women is size 14, there are still only a handful of vintage stores serving curvaceous women in America. Until other vintage stores catch on and start catering to the plus size women, Malkin will fill the void.
